Santa

For a few years ago we never had a Santa Claus in our country. After the Saint Nicolas festivities we put a christmas tree in our home and that's it. But now we have christmas markets and there has to be a Santa too. There is no tradition here yet and I think this is a dressed up man in a poor costume, not somebody to look up to. Well Christmas the dutch way.

  1. There's nothing wrong with that Santa costume; looks like he is getting attention, as he should during this festive season

  3. This bothered me as a little boy. I wondered what he was doing around here when he should be at the North Pole working on all those toys. Then I got to thinking "How can he possibly make all those stops in just one night?" I began to think something was up with this Santa Claus thing.

  4. good that a poor man is getting something in the name of Santa...!

Should take it as a blessing of the Christmas...!

Because Christ was always with poor and the downtrodden to save them...!

  6. At least this costume will keep him a little warmer than my Santa's costume Marianne. I think it takes quite a bit of time for traditions to become the norm oui!
