Bagsvaerd Church

A white fence in the complete white Bagsvaerd Church in Copenhagen designed in 1968 by Danish architect "Jorn Utzon" ( 1918-2008) most notable for designing the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

It is considered to be a masterpiece of contemporary church architecture, thanks to its naturaly illuminated interior and its ceiling straddled with softly-rounded vaulting.

Even the ship was white.

From the outside it didn't quite looked like a traditional church.

  8. That has to be one of the most unusual and different churches I've ever seen. It's cool looking but a bit to "modern" for my taste.

  11. I like this church. Why does a church have to be a traditional style ?

  12. Although. I personally do favor a traditional design of a church....this one is certainly light and bright.

  13. I love the church! It's not the building it's the people inside the building.
