The quality and design of the houses are stunning and dating back to the 14th century is most interesting. I love the outdoor tables and chairs resting beside the canal and it would be most interesting to be here and watch the activity along the canal and the rising of the bridge. The lock-keeper houses are beautiful. I like the "ice-cream parlour" too... in any language. I truly like that first photo and would like to copy and mail it on to my friend in the city, with your permission of course. Have a wonderful day.
