Queen

 I once bought this biscuit tin with a portrait of a young Queen Elisabeth at a fleemarket. I must admit that I am watching all about her death on television at the moment.It is like watching a movie with all the ceremonies,  military exercises, and following a car driving through the landscapes of her beloved country. All very impressive to see how loved she was by the people she served for such a long time.

Elizabeth

 In the pre Covid times we used to visit flea markets and loved to look around, not for something special but just to look at all the stuff people had thrown away out of their houses. I noticed a young Queen Elizabeth on a tin.

I bought it because she looked so young and pretty with all her jewels. And now she has lost her dear husband  Prince Philip and I had to think about her and  reminded me the tin. Poor Elizabeth now a widow.
