 We have a real Mountan in our flat Village. Sheep are happy with it. but ar not climbing up yet.

 When we have no mountains, we make one out of rubbish and let it grow with grass. Looks pretty real and the sheep love it.

"Dutch Mountain"

We climbed our local "Dutch Mountain" yesterday at a sunny day at last after all the rains we had for weeks. It is not a natural mountain but made of garbage and now overgrown with grass.

A flock of sheep is taking care of the  grass around and they climb also up the mountain, where the grass always is greener.

The view from the top is not so spectacular, only green trees around.

 Our "mountain"in Almere used to be a waste mountain, but now loved by sheep and people for a workout.

We have a mountain in Almere. It used to be a heap of waste, but has turned into a green mountain you can walk up. The sheep love it too.

And walk up the path with you.

Come on!.

The path circles up to the top.

These are half way.

There are signs aside you can see how far you are.

We made it to the top with a fancy seat to take a rest. The view is not specatacular, only green trees, so I didn't make a photo.

Dutch Mountain

Last Sunday I climbed a mountain recently created in our village Almere Haven. When you live in a flat country as the Netherlands it is always exciting to see something that towers above the ground.

I started to walk up the 32 meters high mountain.

Together with a sheep.

On the top are some seats to enjoy the views around.

And a monument dedicated to the godfathers of  our city Almere as the architects, designers and managers.

The sheep seem to enjoy the mountain very much too.
