Tango

Diving in the archives  of 2017I found this one of a lecture of the author  Onno Wesseling of a book about the Tango. I loved to go to those lectures and this was a special one.

This lecture was illustrated with a local Tango Dance group.

I must confess I didn't like the book very much but the dances were spectacular.

Redmond O'Hanlon

The British writer Redmond O'Hanlon gave a lecture in Almere yesterday. Both my husband and me love his funny books about his travels in South America, Asia and Africa in which he describes his hilarious adventures in the jungle. He is very popular in the Netherlands by television programs he had made about Darwin. He is an easy speaker with much humor and we had a great time.

Hubby SC had his book signed by him.
