Not far from where we live in Almere Haven this special pyramide home has built by Robert van Harten and two friends who were always fascinated by Egyptian culture. The largest pyramide is for housing with a kitchen, sanitation and a second floor. The smallest is an open space for meditation and workshops. The two are connected with a glass corridor. Almere has a tolerant policy about building your own home. Because we are a new town which only excists for 37 years experiments are encouraged by the local authority. This is rather unusual because there always have been many strict rules to built houses in the Netherlands.
