Everybody survived the Christmas meal last night? I did, my daughter and her husband had made us a delicious meal, we only had to sit  and eat it.

For years after my retirement from work in the Public Library I received every year at Christmas a box with food presents to the delight of Sofietje who always loved the empty box to sleep in. This year they decided to end this tradition which I can understand after all those years. But as my daughter couldn't visit us with Christmas due to the Covid restrictions she decided to sent us a box full of delights.

Sofietje was very happy with a new box.

 Ready for the Christmas meal with only three,.My daughter and son in law couldn't come as my daughter felt sick and is testing for Covid today. Keep our fingers crossed...

Happy Cat

I am retired for nine years now but each year I still receive a Christmasbox from my former employer the Public Library. It was filled with sweets and savory cookies and even a small action camera to use on a bike or while running. But Sofietje is every year the happiest in the world cat with a new box to sleep in!

It was not dark yet but the festive lights were shining already in Amsterdam.

In the posh P.C.Hooftstreet there were old painting masterpieces hanging as the "Milkmaid" of Vermeer.

Just like soap bubbles floating in the air.
