Windmill

This windmill in Weesp, named the "Friendship", was built in 1900 after the previous mill had burned down in 1899. The flour is still obtained by the traditional method.

On the highway

It was a foggy day yesterday and driving on the highway I spotted this typical dutch windmill with the modern version of two wind turbines next to it.

On this road you pass the airport Schiphol where I am always sitting with my camera at hand to spot a landing or rising aeroplane crossing the highway very close. But I think because of the fog there were no planes in the air at all, so only this parked one.
