Controversial?


A new statue in Almere Haven by Paul de Reus. I symbolizes the many faces and diversity of the city.
The reactions are also diverse, some people think it is "shocking" or "repellent".
I don't understand all the noise about it, I think it is just funny and beautiful made.

I am off for a few days to London, with an underground strike right now! grrrrrr.

    I love it. It has a lot of hidden messages. We should be able to look further than the first impression. I repeat: It's amazing !!!

    Hi! That is some sculpture. It reminds me of how Picaso's work was shocking because of the distortions in his figures. This is really a distortion of the body I would say. Thanks.
