Amsterdam, The Blue Bridge on a damp morning. The bridge was opened in 1883. The name is derived from the blue, wooden bridge that from 1600 connected both banks of the river Amstel. The architecture is inspired by the Parisian Seine Bridges and the monumental lanterns have an imperial crown.
