Historic Festival Almere (1)

Each year we have a Steam-engine festival in Almere, but this year it is a historic festival with people dressed in old costumes and all kind of old things. The steam engines are still there like this steamship  from 1871, it can sail on steam or diesel. When we passed by we couldn't  resist to go for a sail for a little hour.

Look at the beautiful interior with copper and wood.

On deck was a steam-organ playing music.

And so we were sailing with music, sunshine and other boats over the Gooilake. The brown boat we call a "Botter" is an old fishing boat.

    I can see being on that boat in period costume.
    The interior is very nice. Looks like brass tho?
