Sunday Bridges

The "Enneus Heerma Bridge" connects the new urban district of IJburg built on seven artificial islands in the IJ-Lake with the isle of Zeeburg, a borough on the eastern  edge of Amsterdam.
It is made of steel with a lenght of 230 meters and a height of 26 meters and was completed in 2001.
The designer was inspired by the classic gables of Amsterdam's canal houses and the wavy patterns refer to water.

  1. That is a very handsome modern bridge. The design is fluid, like water... very appealing.

  2. You had a good view of contrast right? Lines and curves surround us much more than we imagine.
