This is just a heavenly looking scene. I just read an article about the best waffles in Antwerp and now seeing your photo, your region is calling to me :)
Just like Amsterdam.....a place of beauty. The way your canals ramble throughout the cities is so wonderful for me. I just love them. THis is an especially lovely capture...the colors beautiful...and the trees with their branches dropping gracefully over the water are magnificent. Nice work. genie
Thank you all for your kind comments. When I look through your eyes to our country I realize we have so many beautiful cities and not only Amsterdam. Sometimes you get used to it but by your comments I see the beauty of it again and realize that not everybody has this in their neighbourhood. The weeping willow, we name almost the same as "sad willow" or (treurwilg) in dutch.
Such a peaceful scene. Love the Weeping willow tree...does it have a different name in Dutch?
