Knitting

Dutch people seem to be fond of knitting, this "wild knitting" or "knitted graffiti" you see more and more in the open air. Here it covers the poles to put your bike against. Last year we had trees in Almere with "jumpers" on.
This special knitwear I found in a museum in Enschede. You can buy a design to make your own clothes protector for your bike here.

    The blue bike looks splendid but not very comfortable!

  5. Thats funny, jumpers for bikes and poles. I saw that in Hahndorf a german village in South Australia. The trees had scarves on.
