Sunday Bridges

Last Sunday I passed the "Martinus Nijhoff  bridge" at Zaltbommel over the river "Waal". This cable stayed bridge has been  built in 1996 and is named after a well known dutch poet who once wrote a poem about the old bridge with the famous first words "I went to Bommel to see the bridge".  At the left you can see the railroad bridge over the same river.
