Stairway to heaven?

In the "Old Church" which I mentioned yesterday, is an exhibition of pupils of the art academy. This must be a stairway to heaven don't you think?

Mice are everywhere even in churches.

  3. Hierbij moet ik altijd denken aan dat liedje "If I was a rich man" uit Anatevka. IF I was a rich man I had A staircase just for fun. Heerlijk.

  6. I was wondering about those stairs when I saw them in the background in your post from yesterday, but forgot to ask.
Both photos are beautiful, the stairs look great (and yes how are they supported?), but those mice give me the creeps, even though I can clearly see they are not real, haha.

  11. The stairs are attached with thin threads on the ceiling.
And sorry for the "mouses", I changed it in mice of course.

  12. Mooie kunst, inderdaad, ik wist niet dat de Oude Kerk als expositieruimte gebruikt wordt. Goed hoor en eigenlijk wel logisch. Leuke tip! Overigens: mijn schoonmoeder is daar vroeger gedoopt!

    Groeten,
