Sunday Bridges


A iron drawbridge in Amsterdam, the first photo you have a look inside the city, the second is the other way to the open water IJ. You can see the tall masts of a replica of a VOC-ship, which is situated next to the Shipping Museum, the white building on the right hand side.

    we have one at cochin which was lifted up to pass the ships...
    but it can pass only small ships which cannot be called ships these days...

  11. WOW! This is really impressive. I did not se it when there, but I wish I had. It looks so big. THe iron fencing is lovely, and I can see the masts in the background. Such a nice post this week. genie
