A bit too much?

You don't see this so much anymore in Amsterdam, a house almost covered by Virginia creeper. To me it looks like someone who urgendly needs a haircut. It must be very dark inside in some rooms.

  1. This would never happen to my house. Once it is established, it is very difficult to remove.

  2. I would think it would not be good for the brick. I like green...but this is a bit unkept looking for me.

  3. eek. yes. I agree with Janey that it's not good for the brick? it traps moisture there.

seems like someone is very lazy.

  5. I agree. Urgent haircut for a better view from outside and from inside.

  8. I know very little about these vines but my memory tells me that they're supposed to be hard on the stucco and other masonry. But, the greenery certainly is attractive to the eye.

  9. Inderdaad wat overdadig, maar ook wel uniek en als de bewoners er geen moeite mee hebben..

  10. It reminds me of chia pets...if you don't have them over there google the term and then click images.

  11. I wonder if it all started with one little plant Marianne, it often happens that way.

  12. I would be concerned that it cracks in the mortar in the bricks and pretty soon it's growing on the inside!
