In the Netherlands we don't have a tradition of celebrating Halloween but under the influence of the media and commerce, pumpkins are sold now by farmers along the road.
i just prepared my first pumpkin soup last weekend! so much work to peel and cut the thing... but the soup was not bad. now we bought another one and plan to make a pie of it... sometime...
