Who is being asked to remember who they are? Even not knowing the political context, this mural catches the eye. It seems so much more thoughtful than the surrounding tags. I was looking for a signature because it reminds me of a local mural that shares a similar style. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
I found this one in Lisbon: http://oeirasdailyphoto.blogspot.pt/search?q=decay :-)

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI keep forgetting about "Monday Mural"...I like this one and wish that no-one had marred the face!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt sue is bright and attention seeking.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA lovely colourful find Marianne, it really is a shame about the tag but its bound to happen oui.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis one really stands out. I like how the colours of the whole scene are beautifully co-ordinated!

nice.
BeantwoordenVerwijdereni wonder about the butterflies, do they belong to the face?
too bad there are so many ugly tags around...
I like the addition of the butterflies. Taggers should be rounded up and sent to Afghanistan.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAn interesting mural but I agree with the others that the added graffiti detracts from the painting.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMooi. Grappig zijn ook de vlindertjes.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHee, leuk.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like murals, but I wonder where you find all these.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreetings,
Filip

BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes, it's big, colorful and well painted. A good message too to youth who may get caught up with peer groups and forget whoeho they are.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think Sinbad is being perhaps a little too harsh, but I agree they should be rounded up.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenlovely find, indeed its very happy+beautiful!
