Trees

In Utrecht I noticed the naked trees along the canals which had all kind of weird forms. After loosing their leaves they look like figures playing in a fairytale. I think this one must be pretty old with all the wide branches.

You have now a better view at what is at the other side of the canal.

In Summer it looks quite different.

  1. These trees are amazing. They have been there a long time and will still be there after we are gone.

  2. The bare trees make interesting patterns but the summer trees are beautiful.

  3. Hi There - first time visitor. Your photos are just beautiful and I would love to walk or boat on these canala. The trees would make a nice setting for a scary movie. Atlantic Canada - I will be back :)

  4. Love that last shot. Maybe they are shaped this way from trimming?

  10. Really enjoy those canal photos! PS. I have been out of town, Up North, for a week near the Canadian border without internet or cell phone capability. Very peaceful and serene and I loved it; gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. But I have not been able to visit any of my blogger friends. It'll take awhile to read all of my email messages and to visit your posts to see what I've missed, but it's good to be back!
