A mobile cheese vendor at the Albert Cuyp market in Amsterdam. Typical dutch, only the hills I don't understand, never seen them in the Netherlands, we are a flat country.
It put a smile on my face. I guess it's just instinct when I hear "Say Cheese". Now I know why there's so many bicycles in the Netherlands. There's no hills to ride up:-)
Who doesn't love Dutch cheese? And the Dutch cheese market towns. I'm always surprised when English is used in European advertising. The scene is sweet and even makes the sun smile. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
I love DUTCH cheese, apart from one that was very very strong.
If I have time, before the next plane back home to Stavanger, I always run around to buy two things at the Amsterdam airport, Dutch cheese and the magazine Libelle...... :)
Very nice I miss the Dutch cheese.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNo no hills in Holland Where I used to live there were a few little ones.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely. I imagine the hills are there to make it look even more artistic?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYup Chrissy's right Marianne, it's called 'artistic license', it does look pretty though :)

Maybe the painted goofed on the hills but he's right on with the black and white cows.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGood cheese is such a joy!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwhere I live we it is also a little flat, yet we have a so called mountain!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFun; the cows remind me of Elsie ... the chick-fil-a cow here in the US.
