Rolling Kitchens

This is the weekend of the "Rolling Kitchens" in Amsterdam. More than 100 mobile kitchens had come together at the Westergas Fabriek area to make a big open air restaurant.  You could eat all kind of different

food, here is a soup kitchen. 

Or try some roasted meat.

Many cars had funny signs, here you can buy brushed sandwiches, it is a bit difficult to translate it in english.

This potato looked beautiful, all made of wood.

Children had fun in a cute merry-go-round with umbrellas.

Or in a mini Ferris wheel.

There was a band playing music.

I think everybody had a great time, it was Ascension Day, a free day here and the weather was fine.
