The iPhone generation

Everybody has one, this girl was turning around making photos with her own pink iPhone at the theatre festival in Almere.

  1. Here, you walk on the street and see kids and adults with hands up, face looking down and thumbs busy texting or checking mail etc. Kids do not look up when they walk anymore and I have seen a fair number walk into telephone poles or walk off the sidewalk and almost fall into the road. I take my iPhone with me always, but usually just for taking photos or video when I get to where I am going - I am not going to be one to have a run in with a pole or tree. ha,ha
Nice Photo, Nice Capture with all hands busy n nice colours.

  2. it has gotten a little ridiculous!! I am an avid techie freak but not when I'm walking outside or with friends.

  5. Dearest Marianne,
Love my white iPhone 4S but never use it in a silly way. NEVER in the car, however I can tell Siri to call my husband or anyone without ever touching it. But that would only be for emergency cases.
Hope that kids still will learn to walk 'normal' outdoors with their hands empty and enjoy nature and breath in clean air and play games with each other. It's the era of communication and each generation lives inside their own 'bubble'... even running into a pole because of their bubble effect!
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  6. Saucy's comment made me laugh. That I would like to see sometime. Yeah I know, that's mean. I have one only because it is a hand-me-down when my wife felt she just had to have the newest and latest which now is old and outdated by almost a year now. I barely use any of the features it has. I like life simple.

  8. If I tried to turn like that, my iPhone would be on the ground and not in my hand. This photo says it all. How things have changed in my lifetime. genie

  10. They are the way of the future. The question is do they improve communication or spoil it?
