Looks good Marianne, there isn't any substitute for buying fresh at the market oui! So healthy to ride every where!
You have captured the feel and essence of Amsterdam. Wonderful shots. You are so lucky to have the city markets like this. What I would give to have one close by.
Marianne, you are so fortunate to have this lovely daily market - we have no market, we used to have a great fish n seafood store, but they closed when the grocery giants moved in. I do not buy at grocery giants - I buy right from the fishermen and farmers. I love the difference in these two photos, bicycles and market - beautiful colour. as we say in the Maritimes "buy me a fish Colorado" (The wife's name was Colorado and she bought her husband fish daily at the market) - just a silly saying. Have a wonderful day and one day I will roam these streets - I just know it.
Luek Bieb, zo'n marktje. Ik hou er van als ze verse ongepelde garnalen verkopen. Spijtig genoeg vind je dat bijna niet meer.Groetjes,Filip
Looks a wee bit cold that day. Still would be a fun time to walk around.
That fish stall looks so inviting I couldn't possibly walk past without buying some.
Dearest Marianne,Wow, and from there you want to rush back inside your cozy home... Fun markets like that and the bike parking still works it seems like.Hugs,Mariette
You'll get tired of me remarking about the bikes. I am a cyclist and want to see more here. That's why I admire all the cycling in Holland.
No Red, I never get tired of your comments.
2 verschillende stadsbeelden, mooi Amsterdam.
You have inspired me to get healthy....exercise more and eat fish. I will get off of this sofa where I. An enjoying sweet roll and coffee....I will!....maybe.
