I don't know you can call this a mural, but I want to show you anyway. In the main hall of the Central Trainstation in Amersfoort are the images of two employees of the railway company pictured on the glass entrance. I think they sticked the image to the glass but it must be something for them to hang there visible for everybody this huge.
See for more Murals over the world here
I wonder why their pictures are up there.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's eye catching.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCertainly is a nice thing to dol - perhaps its like we have here "employee of the month", with a small award and taken out to nice dinner? It is indeed a nice capture on your part and it looks like a clear poster, so you might view it from both sides? Thank you for your nice comment on my post and I only know some stories my uncles and family brought back from Holland with them. It sounded like real true love for your family member to fall in love with a Canadian Soldier. Do you know where they lived? I find this really interesting Marianne - have a wonderful day.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenO yes I like this very much - a lot of interest in the scene with the reflections
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNow that's different Marianne..very cool !
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'd say it passed as a mural looks good
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think it works as a mural
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is beyond life size! But it looks nice, a great focal point.
Hugs,
Mariette
Cool! I like this!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's amazing what they can do with visuals these days. This looks like the same process they use to put signs on buses. It's a very thin plastic film that has the image on it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDia afbeeldingen zijn zo te zien gigantisch groot!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThese look like holographic projections even though I know they are not. Adds visual interest to these tall windows. This is an interesting way to give them acknowledgement. I wonder if the images change periodically? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenof het nu een mural is of niet, de foto's zijn in elk geval zeer geslaagd
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCool - I wonder how they were chosen!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is certainly a visually interesting station. I just took a train from Memphis to New Orleans and back – saw many stations but nothing like this.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThats a mural with a difference. Interesting. I wonder how the models feel about being so big.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenits a funny effect/mural...thanks for sharing, you live in Amersfoort?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNo, I visited.
