Exotic creatures

These prehistoric animals I saw at the city farm the Kemphaan in Almere. They were behind a thick glass window which reflected a bit, but at least they didn't move at all.

And here another two, you must forgive me by not knowing their names, there were no signs.
Blogger is having trouble to upload today I had another picture but I can't get it on my blog grrrrrr.

  1. The first one is an iguana ....they have very large ones running around in Mexico. The second looks very much like a horned frog. I use to play with these as a child in Texas.

  2. My nephew has an iguana - he calls it "Iggy". Rob has had Iggy for I think 12 years or longer now. He has moved a few times and Iggy has traveled with him to the west coast of Canada and fitting into new home just fine. He is a friendly little fella and loves to rest on Rob's shoulder. What lovely photos you have to share today.

  3. People have these for pets. They don't seem warm and cuddly like a dog or cat but whatever. I've been having trouble with Blogger loading up my reading list for weeks. I have to refresh it several times before it appears, otherwise it tells me I'm not following any blogs. Oh well, it's a free service so you get what you pay for.

  5. I's really too bad that they don't have any information about these critters. They are very well camouflaged.

  7. That is annoying when blogger misbehaves. I have seen the bottom lizard here in the desert but can't remember its name.
