Streetart

At the streetfestival in Almere several 3D paintings were created on the pavement. Unfortunately the day after there had to be built a marketplace upon the images, strange planning, so now the boy has a stupid iron chassis on his head.

Yesterday afternoon I spotted this little boy with a dutch orange football shirt nr.19 and the name of football player Huntelaar printed on it. Guess what, he was the one who later that evening shoot our team into victory in almost the last minute against Mexico! Magical isn't it.

  1. That piece of iron actually gives it an even more 3D look. Such an incredible piece of pavement art.

PS: I am glad the Netherlands advanced, but that was a tight game!

  3. I have seen 3D street art before and just love how the artist is able to do that - draw in 3D - very beautiful and very well done. Congrats to your soccer team :)

  9. Lovely drawing on the sidewalk. I am reminded of the group, "Streetart in Germany", on Facebook; which, I am no longer a member of :)

    Peace :)

  10. I was so captivated by his face and the toucan, 3-D sidewalk art was not even on my radar until I read your commentary. Wonderful. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  13. Very nice street art. But what a sight to capture of what is going on at that place. Maybe the iron chassis is to hold the boy in the manhole.
