Nice Photos. The Geese have been gathering more and more in the field, readying themselves for take off. They live in the field by the stream when they arrive in the spring, have their babies, spend the summer, but its about all the other geese that join them shortly before taking off for winter. In summer, there could be 1-200 geese and perhaps 500 by the time they gather to take off....and they take off in smaller groups of 12-18 or so. Have a wonderful day.
There's been a lot of migration in our area. They'll stop here for a rest late in the day, and something to eat in some of the rivers or the grass, and then keep moving. Beautiful shots!
We zien hier enorm veel ganzen, en het blijft een prachtig gezicht.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI feel a sudden wintry chill coming on. :-)

BeantwoordenVerwijderendefinitely a sign of autumn!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe geese are always symbolic...autumn coming, then spring coming.... as they fly in formation. Great photos
