Today we celebrate the 48th birthday of our King, It is a national holiday with all kind of festivities of which the Free Market is the most important for many. Everybody can sell their attic stuff on the streets, so I am off to make some photos.
This ia a picture of two years ago. Tomorrow more.
A beautiful and happy family. Love the crown on the child in the lower photo; seems fitting for the occasion!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHappy Kings Day! The 3 little Princesses all look so similar.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe had a public holiday today as well, since the 25th was Anzac Day and fell on a Saturday.
I like the second "queen's" silver shoes. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHappy Kings Day - What fun it will be for you to roam about taking photos on this lovely holiday. Very nice photo of the Royals. I like the small girl selling her wares. Looking forward to your photos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow nice to have such a young family in the palace! beautiful family.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey have a really lovely family, Marianne. And the little girls all look so much alike. I like the idea of a street sale.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo only on the king's birthday you can have a yard sale? That would never float here in the States.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo am right? All of this stuff is for free?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey look a lovely family - hope you enjoyed the holiday and snapped lots of photos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA nice idea, at the king's birthday everybody can keep their own flea market on the free place.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe king family looks so beautiful.
One of the girls reminds me of their grandmother.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFor you the special holiday of King's Day has already ended... But it was a lovely day; no doubt.
We will celebrate here too, even though a bit later.
Hugs,
Mariette
