We had a very heavy storm yesterday with lots of incidents in our country. We cancelled a visit with friends because of the bad conditions on the roads. Many trucks had fallen aside and we wouldn't risk to ride behind one.
We only made a short walk to the dike where I was even blown of my feet for a moment, fortunately not photographed by SC.

Those wind storms can be very scary; makes for some interesting photos, tho. We encountered a similar condition a few years ago on our way home from New Mexico in spring. There were huge semis that had been blown to their sides so driving on the highway was very frightening, esp when we passed one of them!
Marianne, sorry for the awful weather, and you can see that the wind was really blowing. I can remember having trucks overturned in high winds. Great shot with the sun coming through!
