The pretty little fortified town Naarden has every two years an international photo exhibition in different locations spread over the city. It was a very sunny Pentecost day yesterday and a joy to walk around and watch some nice photos and shooting them aswell. The theme this year was "water" and this is one of a serie of people living in an inland vessel, placed outside around the Big Church.
Inside the big church of Naarden were several photo's exhibited.
But as usual I am always distracted by the special surroundings of the exhibition as this magnificent ceiled nave covered by an oak barrel vault which between 1510 and 1518 is painted with Biblical scenes.
And the floor of the church paved with old tombstones.
Wow, that's quite a nice vessel to be living in and I am impressed with the old tombstones
