Springtime?

This strange winter is already going over in springtime. These are blooming snowdrops without snow at the cemetery in Almere Haven. They are often seen in the snow in January or February.

And the winter crocuses. But first we have to cope with another storm today.

  1. Strange indeed. The mild weather has tricked the trees and plants in to budding a head of time.

  15. Very pretty! My azaleas are confused too. They started blooming a few weeks ago and now this week they are getting frozen!

  16. Dearest Marianne,
That looks incredible and you are lucky in a way for not having had frost and real winter.
Wednesday and Saturday night we will get -4ÂșC.
Sending you hugs and hope that storm was not too bad!

  17. Really nice to see Mother Spring at work, but she wont be here for a long time yet. I have also seen them popping out in our March snows.
