Sick and alone
First I was quarentined.
I was sick and dizzy of the
sedatives and kept falling over.
That is why my name is Dizzy. I missed my
mother very much. The caretakers
gave me a soft stuffed animal and bottles of milk.
I recuperated very quickly and moved
to the other monkeys.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa, triest om dieren in kooien te houden en Stichting Aap heeft ze ook nog opgesloten zitten en in een niet tropische omgeving; dus wat is het voordeel, buiten het redden van particulieren die ze niet juist behandelen...

Ze zijn vaak getraumatiseerd door jarenlange eenzaamheid en kunnen niet meer in de natuur uitgezet worden. Hier leren ze weer met anderen om te gaan en zich vrij te bewegen in de buitenlucht zonder kooi. Er zijn alleen hekken om de verschillende stadia van elkaar te scheiden.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am glad this little guy was saved, but I think all Zoos should close, tear down the gates, wires, blockades, walls and take the animals back to their countries and be free. How sad to be locked in for the rest of your life.
