Dois belos pormenores da bela Amsterdam.Um abraço e boa semana.
I'd make a beeline to that shop. :-)
Oh me too, bet it would be fascinating in there! Love the old fire station Marianne and I think your bicycle usage would put ours to shame, here most parents drop their kids off at school in huge 4wheel drives, it's ridiculous!
Love the beautiful corner shop!
My comment was going to be similar to Perth's above. Few American women would ever consider transporting their children to and from school in that fashion.
The fire station particularly catches my eye.
Interesting that a store can survive with selling minerals and fossils. The mother on the bicycle has quite a load.
Beautiful old brick firehouse. They used to be made of brick in the US, too. Now more often they are metal sheds.
There's lots of good stuff to see in your street view...interesting buildings.
Dat zie je niet vaak, een winkel waarin je fossielen kunt kopen.
When I lived over there, I liked to ride my bike on the trail through the dunes near the North Sea. I struggled on the hills...then a Dutch Mother would pass me with a kid on the back, a kid on the front and groceries hanging on both sides.
I know I would stop in
You captured "a slice of life" in Amsterdam in your first photo.
I love the way they have decorated the door on the corner. Very pretty!
