Jazz

Last weekend we had Jazz at the harbour. Two bands were playing for what was meant to be a summery sunday afternoon with people on a terrace. With temperatures of 12 C (53.6F), the lowest in 81 years, it was a bit different event as expected.

But the bands braved the cold and played with enthusiasm for a public in wintercoats.

While this man cleaned his boat with the jazzsounds behind him.

  10. Dearest Marianne,
What a pity that the temperature dropped to such an unpleasant figure of 12°C. Not easy for the band either; their hands get cold and stiff... But glad that at least people in their winter coats did show up.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  11. I so enjoy jazz. We had a lovely time at a restaurant in Chicago sometime ago, where a jazz band was performing.
