Monday Murals

In May I showed you some of these Murals or "Floorals" painted by children on tiles and embedded in the street along the harbor of our little village Almere Haven. Today some other parts of the history of  our place. at the sea. Left a "Bottle with a letter" and a "Shopping street".

  1. Such cute tiles. We used to have something similar painted by kids from Perth schools near the Swan Bells tower, but when the area was renovated they removed the tiles. Not sure what happened to them!

  2. Interesting project. It gives kids some ownership.

  3. It's been a while since I've last seen children's sidewalk chalk art.

  4. That is a lovely idea. The tiles are so well done. We have children's tiles embedded into the walls of the railway stations.

  5. Dearest Marianne,
What a lovely way for involving little children into creating something for their town!
Love the subjects and also the Yacht Harbor.

  6. I love these Marianne, even more so because they were created by children.
