Last week we walked through the east area of Amsterdam that we not so frequently visit. With the sunlight shining all the green suddenly struck me and how beautiful those trees make a pretty city with light and shadow.
The garden of the Museum de Hermitage.
Here the habitants have made their street even greener with putting pot plants on the corner.
The tree lined streets and walkways look beautiful Marianne.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Marianne, I'm happy to be back after my little 'meltdown' 😊😊 I think you've highlighted here how important trees and green areas are to big cities, they make such a wonderful difference.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWonderful humane city. I enjoy visiting with you, B
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove the tree-lined lane.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt seems like a serene spot.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's a challenge to green things up when the city has been built very densely in the first place.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's nice to see the green spaces in the city. Nature is good for us, even city dwellers!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt is so nice when a neighborhood takes such an interest in making their partictuar area extra pretty. Plants and trees do so much. The green and the shadows of those beautiful old trees are so pretty. genie
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like these green trees in the city. Looks lovely.
