Rollercoaster days

I have a few hectic days behind me. Last Thursday hubby didn't feel well with pain in the belly.  Friday it was still there and we consulted a doctor who send us right away to the hospital for an emergency appendix operation. Late in the evening he had his operation which was successful.
The following day in the evening he was send home already and now he is slowly moving around at home. At the moment I feel like this floating man I saw in our harbour to consider what happened to us in a few days.

  1. Glad to see that S.C. is doing better. I had my removed when I was 6 years old. I assume the procedure is much easier now with only a small incision.

  2. Like Andy I had mine out when I was young, 11, but I will never forget that pain. Hopefully S.C. will be out there , photographing soon.

Didn't think that a patient would be sent home the day after an operation...
I had mine removed about 20 years ago but because the Doctors didn't know exactly what was wrong with me I had a big incision with quite a few stitches.
