Art Work in progress

This passage in Amsterdam has an art work in progress. The images in the passage must pay tribute to the canals of Amsterdam. The ceiling has been covered with 450 square meters of glass mosaic that portrays canal water complete with wrecks, rats and empty gin bottles.

A special glass robot had to be used to place the mirrors of 500 kilos and three to four meters in size, at the sides of the passage.
The whole work is called "Amsterdam Primordial Soup" by Arno Coenen, Iris Roskam and Hans van Bentem.
When it is finished I will come back to have a look, Watch this article "here" to see how the mirrors were placed in the passage.
