Last week I received a very nice parcel from the UK send by Rosemary of the blog "Where Five Valleys Meet". She was supposed to go on a journey and asked her followers to guess which country she would visit by asking some cryptic questions. The winner would receive a souvenir of the country she was visiting. Unfortunately her journey to Ethiopia was cancelled at the very last moment only 24 hours before departure due to unrest and disturbances in several of the places she had planned to visit.

I happened to be the winner and she decided to send a parcel anyway but than with items from the UK.

She sent a beautiful silk scarf.

A very nice printed tote bag.

And a very handsom desk calendar with images of the Cotswolds with a sweet note to it.
So sweet of her to send all these items despite her disappointement of the cancelled journey.
Thank you Rosemary!
