Bags & Purses

A shoulder bag I saw some time ago in the Museum of Bags & Purses in Amsterdam. It is made of snakeskin with a copper closure by Alexander McQueen in 2000.

The famous Margaret Thatcher handbag.

Three bags made by Andrea Pfister, a red silk one for Angelina Jolie, a  Handbag with leopard printed sides and handles for Princess Soraya of Iran and a Handbag "Couleur c'est la vie"worn by Elton John.

An evening bag "Socks"named after the cat of the Clintons, designed by Judith Leiber in1996.

  4. Some impressive bags there. I never knew there was a museum for bags and purses. Thanks for the good wishes concerning surgery. Everything went well and I'm back home now.

  7. Lovely museum - I like Angelina's red silk one and Hilary Clinton's cat bag, although I don't think it's a very practical bag to carry, but it's just fun!

  8. Fabulous bags here Marianne, the Alexander McQueen is so dramatic 😊 These days I look for a bag that's big enough to carry my camera and lenses 😊

I myself don't use any bag, all my things are always in my pocket.
