Horses

After all the rain we had last months the fields are soaked now. As here at the local horse riding school in Almere Haven.

A little further on the fields have a better drainage. These are private horses of people who own them as a hobby. A lot more work than my kitty at home...

Shall I take a picture of you two? It was alright.

  1. They definitely had better drainage at the riding school. I hope the sun shines soon and dries things up.

  4. My sister used to own a horse and you are so right, they are a lot more work than a cat or a dog. I would hate to have to walk around in that yard in your first photo.

  6. The horses weren't shy when you took their photo. We have lots of mud too but it doesn't bother the animals, they are used to it. :)

  7. I pass horses in fields when I'm walking the dogs. The fields are grass and sloping so they don't get too muddy. Some of the horses come up to the fence when we pass, they are very handsome animals.

  9. Sure looks muddy. Horses would take a lot of looking after but probably owners get lots of fun out of riding them.

  10. What a difference to the condition of the fields Marianne! Still, the mud must be nice and soft on the horses hooves!r
