An old house dating from 1641 in the Staalstreet in Amsterdam with a crown on top and the coat of arms of Amsterdam. The company of "Droog Design" is housed here with a galery where they expose their products.
It is a Crown from emperor Maximilian of Austria that was allowed for Amsterdam to use it with their coat of arms. You can see those crowns on top of some churchtowers in Amsterdam too.
It is so good to see the blue skies once again. Is there a history to that building linking it to the Royal household?

BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe building is pretty impressive for its age. I like the crown, it looks nice with a blue sky highlighting it.
