When passing the Muntsquare in Amsterdam I looked up and noticed a little sculpture under the balcony.
With a closer look it happened to be a screaming woman dating from 1895 and made by Lambertus van Zijl. The building is of architect Berlage. He liked to decorate his buildings with sculptures, this one hidden so high up, I had never seen before. She seems to warn you to be careful at the crowded square. Linking to "Our World Tuesday"
We can miss so much by not looking up. Good spot.

People miss so much by not looking skywards particularly in our great cities and their ancient history.
