This "hopscotch track" I saw yesterday in Amsterdam. I remember when I was a child, I had a track painted on the pavement by myself with chalk. With friends we hopped and turned playing in the street. I couldn't resist and made a little hop here....

I also played it when I was kid. Life before computers really was fun.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFond memories of playing 'hopscotch'. Always with chalk, nothing as fancy as this one.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHopscotsch track. Prachtig woord, ik kende het niet. Hinkelen wel natuurlijk en ik doe het ook altijd eventjes als ik een baantje zie
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI would have been tempted too Marianne, but hopping is out of the question for me at the moment 😁
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDo they have "orthapedic" hopscotches, too?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGood for you! We used to draw the track with chalk too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDit is wel een hele luxe uitvoering!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenik doe dat nog wel eens met de kleinkinderen Marianne

Kids still have these in their school yards. Those numbers are nice, bright and colourful.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI occasionally see these on the sidewalks in the side streets here.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is pretty high tech with the colors and I'll bet the measurements are exact.
