The new normal

Finally the rains have stopped and we see blue skies again. But it is difficult to enjoy it at the moment. When you have a walk you have to be alert to keep distance to others. We are used to greet each other on a walk, that's the habit here in a village. Now you have to think to step aside in the  grassland when you see someone comes to you. It feels as if you are afraid of someone.

  2. It looks like a lonely world out there. I take a daily walk outdoors and the rule is to keep a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from others.

  3. Your photo captures the mood very well. It is indeed awkward out walking and coming across others. I passed some people on a narrow trail yesterday... impossible to distance, so I held my breath!

  4. Exactly! I just did the same thing yesterday, stepping into the grass to avoid someone. Thank goodness people are still waving at one another.

  6. We have good opportunities for walking. We step out on the road when we meet someone. I meet many of my neighbors so we have a good chat.

  7. The blue skies have helped to keep us cheerful but I am not enjoying the walks as I cannot relax. Always checking that I am not close to others.
