Hubby and I made a biketour today in the surroundings of Almere. This is the so called "Four Bridges Path".
The bridges are rather steep and narrow, I mostly get off my bike and walk over the bridge.
Hubby balancing downwards. We saw eldery people with E-bikes zooming over the bridge, but we are still old-fashioned cyclists on our own muscle strength.

That's a very pleasant-looking bike ride. I can see why you walk the bike across that bridge.

Much better to get some exercise by pedaling your bike :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a great outing! You are the smart ones, you are getting exercise.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenKeeps you fit and healthy.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA nice place for a bike ride!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like the old fashioned way of riding a bike too. Great you two got some exercise and enjoyed the scenery.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOutstanding - Well Done
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCheers
I just learned (from blogger Geo.) the word "transpontine", meaning the other side of the bridge. And then you show me a bridge. Gives me a chance to try out my new word. The bridge looks very narrow. I wonder what happens if you meet someone from the transpontine in the middle!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat bridge is too narrow for me. I'd walk across it too.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI thought the same as Catalyst..and wondered if it was a bridge for bikes only? So nice to be able to get out of the house. We don’t have bikes but do take a daily walk.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDat zijn inderdaad steile bruggetjes. Eerst goed kijken of er geen tegenligger aankomt dus.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI would stop and walk also Marianne 😊 I always feel like ebikes are cheating, not really cycling 😉
