That is probably a good thing. I haven't been on public transit in so long.
We have those signs too. Every now and then there is always someone who has to be restrained because of obnoxious behaviour.

All our public transport has CCTV as do most of the streets. Cameras are everywhere. Big Brother is definitely here in London.
